福鼎白茶以日晒工艺著称。
福鼎白茶是中国最古老的茶类之一，产自福建福鼎。它以日晒自然萎凋工艺著称，是中国六大茶类中的独特存在。
白茶的工艺最接近自然。只有萎凋和干燥两道工序，不炒不揉，保留了茶叶最本真的状态。
白茶的种类多样。包括白毫银针、白牡丹、贡眉、寿眉等。等级最高的是白毫银针，全部由芽头制成。
白茶的最大特色是越陈越香。存放得当的白茶，香气会从清香转化为荷叶香、枣香、药香等多种层次。
老白茶有"一年茶、三年药、七年宝"的美誉。这种说法体现了白茶的时间价值。
