恩施玉露的工艺包括蒸青、扇凉、揉捻、整形、烘焙等多道工序。每道工序都需要精准把控火候。
恩施玉露的形态独特。茶叶紧细圆直、挺直挺秀，形如松针，色泽翠绿。
正宗的恩施玉露冲泡后香气清鲜、滋味醇爽。茶汤清澈明亮，叶底嫩绿匀整，是绿茶中的精品。
